Whether you are choosing a new dentist for good or just need one thing sorted, you are welcome here.
A warm welcome
A warm welcome to Waterside
Choosing a new dentist is a bigger decision than it sounds, especially if your last few visits have not been happy ones. We know that, and we do not take it lightly.
We are a small private practice in Hythe, and that is on purpose. You will see the same familiar faces every time you come in, and we take the time to get to know you so your care fits around what you actually want. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is done until you understand it and agree to it.
If you are nervous, you are in the right place. A lot of our patients come to us after a long time away, and looking after nervous patients is the part of the job we care about most.

New patient examination £92
Your first visit is a full new patient examination with one of our dentists. It costs £92 for an adult (and £46 for a child).
Before looking in your mouth, we ask what brought you in and what you want out of your visit. If you are anxious, tell us so we can adjust how we do things.
02
A proper examination
We perform a full check of your teeth, gums, bite, soft tissues, and oral cancer check.
03
X-rays and photos
We take necessary X-rays and photos and put them on screen to explain what we find in plain words.
04
A written plan and price
You leave with a treatment plan listing every option, timescale, and exact cost so you can decide in your own time.
Dentistry has a reputation for being painful or unpleasant, but we have spent a long time making sure that is not the case here.
We use The Wand, which numbs you without the big needle, sting, or soreness. We also keep appointments longer so nothing feels rushed, offer hot drinks, welcome you to bring someone with you, and provide oral or drip sedation if required.
You do not have to move practice to see us. If you are looking for a clinician to carry out a single treatment while staying registered with your current dentist, we can help.
We also treat emergencies for patients not registered with us. If you are in pain, call the practice as early in the day as possible and we will do our best to see you the same day.
How to become a patient
How to Register
Becoming a patient is simple, and there is no online form to wrestle with. Registration is handled by the practice, so all you need to do is get in touch and the team will take it from there.
Call us on 023 8084 3318 or pop into the practice at 40 Langdown Lawn, Hythe. We will register you and book your first examination at a time that suits you, including an evening appointment on a Monday or a Saturday morning if that is easier.
Whether you'd like to book or just have a question about treatment, send us a message and a member of the team will get back to you — the same day wherever we can.
